Hot & Spicy Dry Rub
Makes about 2 1/4 cups.
Ingredients:
- 8 Tbsp. paprika (hot or sweet per your taste)
- 3 Tbsp. cayene pepper
- 5 Tbsp. freshly ground black pepper
- 6 Tbsp. garlic powder
- 3 Tbsp. onion powder
- 6 Tbsp. Kosher salt
- 2 1/2 Tbsp. dried oregano
- 2 1/2 Tbsp. dried thyme
Directions:
- Mix all ingredients together.
- Store in air tight jars or tins.
- Store in refrigerator or cool pantry.
Notes:
This spice is very good on pork tenderloin done on the grill. It is also a very good dry rub for ribs. It is especiually good mixed with butter to make a compound that I smear under the skin of chicken that I can grill or roast.
